Linear Chirp Groupbox -

The linear chirp groupbox consists of 3 textbox inputs and 3 radio buttons. The 3 text box inputs correspond to the 3 frequency parameters used to define the chirping waveform: Start, Stop, and Step. The 3 radio buttons are used to select the waveform profile: Ramp, Triangle, or Level.

Start

Specifies starting frequency. Defined in both hexadecimal frequency word and decimal real frequency. You may change either the frequency word or the real frequency.

Stop

Specifies stop frequency. Defined in hexadecimal frequency word and decimal real frequency. You may change either the frequency word or the real frequency. Please note that the real maximum frequency may not be the Stop frequency attribute that you define.

Step

Specifies the step size. Defined in hexadecimal frequency word and decimal real frequency. You may change either the frequency word or the real frequency.

Ramp

The ramp radio button selects the ramp waveform profile. If the waveform output does not appear to change, restart the waveform by clicking abort then click either arm or restart depending on the running mode desired.

Triangle

The triangle radio button selects the triangle waveform profile. If the waveform output does not appear to change, restart the waveform by clicking abort then click either arm or restart depending on the running mode desired.

Level Control (Optional)

The level control radio button selects the optional level control waveform profile. If the waveform output does not appear to change, restart the waveform by clicking abort then click restart.
